HomeWelcome!Mar 4, 2007
Thanks for visiting. My name is Darrell Gustafson and this is the site of "ngai moko," Lingala for "it's really me" or "yours truly." This site is a reflection of some of my experiences growing up in Zaire (now D. R. Congo) and then later working in Chad and Cameroon. These places have affected me profoundly, and I want to share my love of Africa with you, my friends. I hope the pictures, music, and writings give you a glimpse into, and a new appreciation for, the places I have called home.

For more music, you can create your own radio stations on Pandora.com. I've created one African station, which also plays a variety of Latin and other world music. You can listen to it at http://www.pandora.com/stations/48c3e0b919fbe6c4e8bdc1b00a82ec45be65aaf34da7c82c.
